Ghost Night Light - finished night light plugged inAdd some cuteness to your night lights. Since it's Halloween time, I guess this won't be too scary for the kids if displayed at night. Gather some clean white bond paper and create this simple figure to decorate your mini night lights.



Ghost Night Light - supplies


  1. Cut out two bell shapes of the same size.
  2. Ghost Night Light - cut 2 bell shapes from white paper
  3. On the first bell, draw a ghost's face.
  4. Ghost Night Light - draw a ghost's face on one bell
  5. On the second, cut out a circle in its center. Its size should be based on the size of your light bulb.
  6. Ghost Night Light - cut a circle the size of your light bulb out of the center of the second bell shape
  7. Cut out a thinner version of the bells (cutting on the fold).
  8. Ghost Night Light - cut out a thin tall version of the bell shape

  9. Glue the sides of the back of the first bell (one with the face) and attach one side of the thinner one. Do the same on the other side with the second thin piece of bell.
  10. Ghost Night Light - attach the two thinner bell shapes to the back of the large bell with the face, as shown
  11. Attach the bell with a hole so it will look like this.
  12. Ghost Night Light - then attach the other half of the two small bells to the large one with the hole so that it looks like this
  13. Cut out 3 inch thin strips of paper.
  14. Ghost Night Light - cut out 3 inch long thin strips of paper
  15. Attach them below the face of the ghost.
  16. Ghost Night Light - glue them to the inside below the face of the ghost

  17. Curl them with a pen.
  18. Ghost Night Light - curl paper around a pen

  19. Insert your light bulb into the hole.
  20. Ghost Night Light - insert lightbulb into the hole
  21. Plug it... ding! :-D
  22. Ghost Night Light - plugged in
