Playing Poke-A-Pumpkin

Gold Post Medal for All Time! 899 Posts

Playing Poke-A-Pumpkin 1I made this game after seeing one on Pinterest. Not only did it turn out super cute, it was a lot of fun...even for my daughter's 5th grade class! It would obviously be great for younger kids too.

The object is simple, put candy or prizes into each section, then let the kids pick one to poke open and retrieve their prize. :) So much fun, and the possibilities are endless.

I'm having trouble getting the hot glue to hold on the butcher paper covering a wooden board. It dries and then pops loose even before getting candy in it.

Any other suggestions on how to attach?

Let the glue gun get really hot before glueing.

Maybe try using gorilla glue, and see if that helps

I used a poster board and it worked beautifully

We're having a harvest festival for TK-5 grade and I'm wondering if a 20 by 30 is perfect or too big?
