Candy Corn Tree

This candy corn tree makes a great tabletop Halloween decoration! It's also a fun way to use up yarn if you happen to have these colors laying around.

Supplies:

orange yarn
yellow yarn
white yarn
large foam cone
hot glue gun

Steps:

Adhere the end of the yellow yarn to the cone about 1/3 of the way up from the bottom. Wrap yarn around the cone, working up and down until the entire area is covered.

Add glue around the bottom of the cone and wrap the yarn, until all of the glue is covered up.

Now wrap the middle section with orange yarn. Adhere the end as before, then wrap the yarn until the whole area is covered. Glue the end down and cut off any extra yarn.

Finish the tree by wrapping the top portion in white yarn. When you get to the top, apply glue to the top edge and wrap the yarn around. Then put glue on the point of the tree and wrap the yarn in a swirl to cover the top. Stick down the end and trim off any extra.
