Making Foil Spiders

After reading a story about spiders, the kids and their friends wanted to make a spider craft. They all had a blast playing with their spider friends! This would be a fun craft for Halloween as well.

Note: Spiders have 8 legs, but we didn't have enough pipe cleaners to divide among them so we had to use 6 for each spider.

Total Time: 15 minutes

Supplies:

  • foil
  • google eyes
  • pipe cleaners
  • scissors
  • hot glue

Steps:

  1. Roll foil in a ball.
  2. Cut pipe cleaners and fold into a "L" shape to resemble the spider legs.
  3. With adult supervision, use hot glue to secure legs onto foil ball (spider's body).
  4. With adult supervision, hot glue google eyes on.
  5. Your spiders are ready for play.
