Making a LEGO Costume
October 31, 2011
Gavin as Lego Indiana Jones, his favorite game. Time was 16 hours and a total of $35.00
Approximate Time: 16 hours
- cardboard boxes
- duct tape
- art paper
- packing tape
- spray paint
- markers (blk and brn)
- store bought hat
- store bought whip
- metal coat hanger
I measured out each part of the legs, head and body and put together with duct tape. Then I wrapped each part with art paper for a better paint job and used packing tape to put together. I painted each part then hand detailed the rest. I added a hat and used velcro to hold in place and added a whip. Cut a metal hanger to 6 inches and bent them to use to hold legs to belt loops on pants.

We had to get creative this year for Halloween costumes. These were very simple to make. Using a hot glue gun, attach small butter bowls to a cardboard box.
Cut out holes for your arms. Spray paint and you are done.
