Reindeer Costume for a Child?

Where can I find ideas on making a reindeer costume for a child's "tap class"?

Well...Since your child will be dancing in it, I'd say use a brown sweat suit or a brown turtle neck and leggings for the body. Then he/she could wear black tap shoes and wear black gloves for "hooves". Paint their nose with red or black Halloween face paint (or even use regular make-up) and for the antlers:

Look online for a picture of "antlers", using a sharpie sorta draw out the basic shape on some tan or brown felt then cut those out. Sew around all but the last two inches and stuff with fluffing to make it sorta roundish looking, then finish sewing. Glue those to a head band and you've got your self a reindeer with VERY minimal sewing effort. Instead of sewing the antlers, you could even use that "Stichwitch" stuff I've heard about. Makes a hem with fabric glue I think...

You can usually find the antlers that are already on a headband at the major drugstores now!
