Hole Punch for Opening Candy Bags

Tonight I was putting little packages of candy for the little children on Halloween. I noticed I had a hole punch, the kind that you hold and squeeze in your hands. It must have been a gazillion years old. So I punched a hole in the corner of the candy bag, after the seal on the top. I found that this procedure makes it easier to open certain bags that are just not easy to open. So happy to find simple ways to do things. I dislike bags that don't open easy. The hole punch is safer than scissors for kids to use to open plastic packages.

That is a good idea. The air inside often makes it hard to open. Might want to get a new one or put either in the kitchen.
