Steps:

  1. Print out the mask template and measure your features to see if you need to make the mask printout bigger or smaller.
  2. Tulle Masquerade Mask - measure your features to help size mask printout

  3. Compare your measurements to see where your eyes will be. You can use a pen to change the mask dimensions if needed.
  4. Tulle Masquerade Mask - measure eye placement

  5. Tape the piece of tulle down onto a piece of parchment paper (or clear wax paper) that is on the template. Make sure you can see the mask lines.
  6. Tulle Masquerade Mask - tape tulle to either parchment paper or clear wax paper that is over the template

  7. As you cut out the mask, move the pieces of tape to hold the tulle down firmly.
  8. Tulle Masquerade Mask - move the tape while cutting to keep tulle in place

  9. Tape the layers down onto a work surface.
  10. Tulle Masquerade Mask - tape layers to work surface

  11. Use the puffy paint pen to draw some designs. I started above the eyes, then added swirls upwards.
  12. Tulle Masquerade Mask - adding puffy paint designs

  13. If you're using larger glitter pieces like I did here, wet the tip of a pin to pick them up and place them strategically. If you're using fine glitter, just dust on top of the paint. Allow to dry completely.
  14. Tulle Masquerade Mask - use a pin to place larger pieces to gleu in place or simply dust with fine glitter

  18. Tulle Masquerade Mask - glue ribbon to the inside of the mask at the sides and allow to dry

  19. Fasten mask on above your ears and tie behind your head.
